Job Description

Our first shop opened in 1981 in Penzance, selling durable clothing to artists and mariners. Today, we’re a modern, data-enabled omnichannel retailer with a growing international presence. We blend heritage with innovation, designing timeliness clothing made from responsibility sourced fabrics, and using technology to improve how we operate, grow and serve customers.

As we scale in the UK and internationally (primarily through third-party partnerships), we’re investing in data, systems and digital capability to support our people and our growth. It’s an exciting time to join us!

As our Partnership Data Assistant, you’ll play an important part in making sure our third party partners have everything they need to showcase our products accurately and on time.

You’ll work closely with teams across partnerships, merchandising, photography, marketing and buying to collect product information, prepare data templates and keep everything up to date for launches. Your work helps ensure that our products appear correctly across partner websites and that customers see clear, consistent information wherever they shop.

This role is a full-time, 5 month temporary contract. Please note, as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week but the nature of some roles may require more working time in our head offices) and remotely within the UK.

You’ll help us by:

Gathering product details and imagery from multiple systems and preparing partner templates using spreadsheets and internal tools.

Ensuring all product data and images sent to partners are accurate, complete and delivered within agreed timelines.

Sharing weekly updates on upcoming launches with internal teams and partners, flagging any delays or actions required.

Checking partner websites to confirm which items are live and whether product details and descriptions are displaying correctly.

Feeding back any issues or observations to channel merchandising and partnership account teams.

Collecting partner performance or product information and sharing it with the relevant internal teams.

Building positive working relationships across teams involved in the product data and imagery process.

Supporting the wider partnerships team with ad-hoc tasks and project support as needed.

The skills you’ll be sharing with the team:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Google applications.

Proven previous relevant data administration and operations experience preferably from a retail environment or relevant education.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent relationship building skills both internally and externally.

Highly organised and thorough.

Excited by a challenge with the ability to work well in a busy and fast-moving retail environment.

Why we hope you’ll love working with us:
